We begin worship promptly at 9:30 allowing for a warm welcome of our guests and visitors. Announcements follow children’s sharing time. Sunday School for all kids begins promptly after children’s sharing time.  The kids exit the North Door to work on the BIG QUESTION introduced by Pastor during sharing time.  Class A (Pre-K through 2nd Grade) go to Classroom 7 and Class B (3rd through 6th) convenes in room 4. 

We are meeting every Sunday at 11:15 in Classrooms 5/6. Pastor Rob and Deacon Ken continue to lead our study of the Old Testament prophets. We have the Bibles, or you can bring your own. Come and join us!

The Knitting Group “Needles” meets every Wednesday at 10:00 am in the “Quilting Room”.

The neuroscience of singing shows that when we sing our neurotransmitters connect in new and different ways. It fires up the right temporal lobe of our brain, releasing endorphins that make us smarter, healthier, happier and more creative. When we sing with other people this effect is amplified. Join us on Thursdays at 7:00 pm here at Ascension Lutheran Church for choir rehearsal where we will sing and become smarter, healthier, happier and more creative. All are welcome!

Please enjoy this pictorial preview of this year's Ascension Quilter's opportunity to support the quilters with funds for batting, etc. We are trying a different pricing structure this year; all small-ish items will be priced as marked; the larger items (primarily quilts) will be by silent auction, with a beginning bid on each sheet. There may be a few more items than pictured available, because the elves are furiously working! This sale will take place immediately after church on Sunday, November 9th in the Fellowship Hall; thank you for your support! Being Ascension’s Musical Director and Organist! Church members, family, and friends are invited to a reception in the Fellowship Hall, on Sunday, November 9th , at 3:00 pm. Hosted by the church vocal choir and chime choir to honor the talent and contribution of Jim to our congregation and to the community at large through his membership in the American Guild of Organists. We are studying the book “House of the Living Stones” by Katie Schuermann with eight study questions after each chapter for discussion. Lift meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.
