REFLECTION: The Saltire Cross (The St. Andrew Cross), Theme Humility, Presenter– Dave Semovoski. PRAYER OF THE DAY: Almighty God, Your Son, Jesus Christ, was lifted high upon the cross that He might bear the sins of the world and draw all people to Himself. Grant that we who glory in His death for our redemption may faithfully heed His call to bear the cross and follow Him, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Lent thru Easter Sunday 2026
Ash Wednesday begins Lent on February 18th. Worship Service is at 7:00 p.m. with the distribution of Ashes and Holy Communion. This year we are featuring a Lenten Series titled, “The Crosses of Our Faith”. We examine our many shapes and styles of faith symbolized by a variety of depictions of the Holy Cross. You will hear from several of ALC’s faithful as they describe the cross and consider Jesus’ call to “take up your cross and follow me”. We will be live-streaming and posting all Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services as well as Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. Please join us and share with others.
